I LOVE pictures of my kids. They do the funniest things, not to mention the sweetest... or naughtiest. The constantly make me smile (or cry depending on the day). I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mommy :)

Birthday Party

Ok, I know I'm slow... these pics are from the boys' birthday party on the 19th. They had a lot of fun, and couldn't keep their fingers out of the cake. We had it at Grandma Julie's house because.... suprise, our kitchen is still not done. We decided to do it outside . There is a nice big lawn and patio, so it was nice. Plus, there was a nice wind break. It was a really nice day.

This is Saige's cupcake. I didn't really want them to blow out the candles over the whole cake. Raiden more spits than anything :)

This is their cake. My mom helped me make it. Carrot cake from scratch and homemade creamcheese frosting.. YUMMY!

These are the yummy cupcakes. My mom and I made them too, frosting and all. I used cookie cutters and cut the letters out of fruit roll-ups. I think they turned out way cute!

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Today is my 22nd birthday. WOOHOO! Really, isn't it wierd how it's not a big deal what age you are gonna be now. 21 was supposed to be big, but I don't drink. The best thing about my birthday now is celebrating Saige's milestones. He is 4 today. I can't believe he is already so big! He'll soon be starting school... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAIGE and MOMMY!! :)

These are some pictures I took with my camera. Brock won't let me take them to a photographer right now, so I was trying to get some good ones. Raiden doesn't like the camera unless he's being goofy. Jaide is the only reasonable one... probably becasue she isn't mobile... lol. So this is my attempt at their pics.

Easter

The boys woke up early Easter morning. The night before I had told them that the Easter Bunny wouldn't come if they didn't go to sleep, so they knew there was something for them upstairs. It was insanity trying to get them to calm down enough to get dressed. They didn't get a lot, but they loved their buckets. They even got edible grass (because the Easter Bunny really knows our boys will put anything in their mouths). Saige was really excited about the 'birdies' he could eat. "Mmmmm, yummy birdies," he says. Raiden wanted to eat everything right then.









This year we decided to have an easter egg hunt in our yard. It was so much fun watching the boys. Raiden found his first egg and thought it was a ball. He just dropped his bucket and started throwing the 'ball' and chasing it. It was funny. We finally got him to pick up the eggs and put them in his bucket, but Saige already had most of the eggs. After all the eggs were found, we went inside to open them up. Raiden didn't want to give up his 'balls' until he saw that Saige got candy out of them. We couldn't open them fast enough. We now have the Easter candy put away for treats. They each got a 'yummy birdie' before bed last night. Those two are just so funny :)

Oops!!

Here I was thinking that my nephew's name was spelled K-A-D-E-N.... nope! I didn't even know, they spelled it KAIDEN. Just like my kids... So this is my correction, because I really don't want to go back and fix all of the names. So it is Kaiden, not Kaden.

Date night?!?

I am so hoping for a date night tonight. My birthday is next week, but I don't want to go out on my bday, cause it is Saige's bday too. I talked Brock into going tonight so we can get some shopping for the boys done too. I just need to find a sitter. I wish my mom would answer her phone :). It is rare for me and Brock to get out without the boys. I love to go out with them, but sometimes we need to be able to eat without cutting up someone else's food.. lol We'll see......

BIRTHDAYS!!

April is a big month in our house (actaully, in our whole family). My birthday present 4 years ago (wow, only 4 years?!?) was Saige. So our birthdays are on the 14th. Then Raiden will be 2 on the 18th. We also have Aunt Nikki's bday on the 20th and Uncle Jade's bday is also on the 14th. So we are planning on having the boys' party on the 19th. It is on a Sunday so we wouldn't have to worry about Brock and Julie having to work. I'm hoping to have the party here, but we'll see. I will let everyone know...

lots and lots of work left to do...

We have been trying to get our kitchen done, but things keep popping up to slow us down. We are finally getting the drywall up. My brother is going to finsih it next week so I can start painting. I'm hoping to get this done by the weekend of the 19th. I really would like to have the boys birthday party here. We'll see how much we actually get done.
